AI-Accelerated Superconductor Discovery: From Algorithms to Novel Materials

Jun 25, 2025

The ‘AI for Superconductivity’ workshop (April 28-29, 2025) brought together leading experts in AI-driven materials discovery and fundamental superconductivity theory to discuss the latest developments and future directions in this exciting field.

The focused program featured invited talks, scientific discussions, a poster session, and a banquet dinner to facilitate in-depth exchanges and inspire novel collaboration opportunities among researchers from academics and industry.

 Key topics of discussion included:

  • Advances in Crystal Structure Prediction and Neural Network Architectures

  • Inverse Design and Generative AI for Superconductor Discovery

  • Bridging Academic Research and Industry: From Algorithms to Applications

  • Hardware and Data Infrastructure for AI in Materials Science

  • Theoretical Foundations: Towards Room-Temperature Superconductivity and Materials Properties beyond Tc
